Urban Decay - Book Of Shadows Vol II

I love duty free, grabbing myself a bargain. I bought this on a Thomson Cook flight to Turkey maybe 2 year ago this summer. this was my first product that I brought by Urban Decay and I have never looked back on it. Now I just love looking for new products b these and planning my next shop.

This is a limited edition palette which joins the other Book Of Shadows (I think volume 5 is available). it contains 16 colours with 7 new shades. it also included in this vanity box is a  travel size eye shadow primer potion and two 24/7 Glide-on eye pencils  the box is made of a cardboard but is durable. The case reveals the wonderful colours by sliding out the bottom draw, also lifting the top lid reveals a mirror and also a book containing pictures of the shadows being modelled.

the colours: Perversion, Gunmetal, Ecstasy, AC/DC, Nylon, Sellout, Mushroom, Sphynx, Half Baked, Twice Baked, Midnight Cowboy Rides Again, YDK, Jinx, Flipside, Homegrown and Misdemeanor.

I love the neutral browns colours as they remind me of the very well known Urban Decay Naked palette 1&2 . I like how you can easily create a smoky effect look which a range of colours but also correspond to each other.

I am not too sure on the price as it was long time ago but i think it was around £40.

(The swatches are without primer so are not as bright)

The downsides to the box is when you try and use the mirror it snaps back as the mirror is to heavy..

Busy Day

I was hoping to do another view but I ran out of time. I had some hiccups and some good points today. the hiccups : I decided to updated the layout of the blog which I have been doing for the past few days. I created a header but then I couldn't place it in the middle trying most of the codes I could find (still no luck :( ) then I added some social networking buttons in pink but I like the whole grey, black and white theme so I chose to change then to glitter. I love how they look but I cant find a code make them small or centre the last button to under the top middle one. Lastly then tried to change the post title font but that also did not happen. I felt like it made my whole blog less nice so I then got scared so set myself a mission to find it. 2 hours later I found the card, fixing it.

well I did add glitter social networking buttons, added new pages (coming soon!) and editing all my photos which are ready to be reviewed. Contact some more big beauty names and enter tons of give-ways (fingers crossed)

So what did you do today?

Benefit - Dr. Feelgood

Available from benefit

This product can is sold at £21.50 which gives 24g of product. I bought this last summer for when i go to live away for 2 months. The country i went to is very hot so I find product don't say on for longer and can be oily due to the sun heating them up.

When i first bought this i was sceptical even when i applied the product. instead of blotting it on to the face with the sponge included I simple well 'pulled'. the reason i say puled is the texture is tough to move so i had to pull it across my face (bad idea). As i didn't apply it right i used lot of product that was not needed also it felt heavy. i then looked at reviews and found how to apply it correctly.

To apply you simply dab it from the tin then pat it onto the target areas. by applying differently i loved the product. I applied before my make-up onto my forehead the applied make-up as normally. i found my head was more matt and no oil was insight.

I love the packaging with the old vintage tin and packaging it is box in. the price may be dear but when you learn to apply properly it just last a long time.

I would advise you to add this to your daily routine and lifetime of make-up.

Ted Baker - Pencil Case & Make-up Bag

Can Be bought from Ted Baker

Recently my family was lucky enough to go to america. As I was not able to go, I decided to gave my family members a list of items that they could try and pick up along their travels. this was all paid for by my own money.

I chose to make this list due to the savings I would make as if I bought the items on the list I would bee heavily taxed. Overall I paid £120 (this included items that are not readily available in the UK). These I will give a overall review later.

firstly I am going to give a review on two items from Ted Baker London -

Can Be bought from House Of Fraser

I found this be so cute. I paid £15.20 but normally is £19.00 with the saving of £3.80. In my opinion this is a smaller version of the small make-up. the pencil case has a pink lining the same colour of the outside. It can hold the average of what a pencil case is expected to hold - even with the four different highlighters.

Some disagree with the whole duty-free as they think they don't make savings and isn't as cheap as what people say but just by buying these two products it nearly is £10 which can pay for another item.
